CONTENT GUIDELINE

Caffy.io is where you craft living characters powered by AI, design intricate scenarios and stories, and watch your worlds evolve through interaction. Whether you're a writer, artist, or AI storyteller, this is your canvas for narrative experimentation. In order to create a safe and comfortable space for everyone to discover and create, we have established guidelines on what type of content is and is not permitted. Content refers to anything created or uploaded on Caffy, including but not limited to characters, scenes, scenarios, posts, images, and comments.

1.Prohibited Content

Sexual depictions of minors

We do not allow content sexually depicting underage characters. For any sexual depiction, all characters must be at least 18 years or older. This applies even if the character's age is set as an adult. For clarification, the following rules apply in any sexual context:

• Characters must be 18+: Any character explicitly or implicitly under 18 will be deleted.
• Users portrayed as minors: Characters where the user can be portrayed as underage will be deleted without warning.
• Childlike imagery: If a character image resembles a minor, it will be removed.
• Childlike mental state: Characters unable to make informed decisions or give consent like an adult will be removed.

Sexual depictions of real people

Using real people's photos or depicting real individuals in a sexual manner is not allowed.

Fandoms and Copyrighted Materials

Caffy is primarily an original content hub. We respect the intellectual property of everyone, and we ask you to do the same. Characters based on fandoms and copyrighted materials are subject to takedown requests by the copyright holder. If your content includes third-party copyrighted materials without permission, such characters may be made private.

Content related to criminal activity

We do not allow content that is illegal in the United States or the European Union, including but not limited to:

• Depictions involving illegal recordings
• Promoting, inducing, encouraging, or aiding prostitution
• Explicit depictions of sexual violence such as rape or gang rape
• Glorifying crime or detailing how to commit crimes
• Use of the Red Cross name or the red cross emblem (red cross symbol)

Content violating moral and ethical standards

These contents are not allowed:

• Disparage marginalized groups such as people with disabilities or the elderly
• Include detailed descriptions of killing, assault, threats, or abuse against vulnerable individuals like children, seniors, pregnant women, or teachers/parents
• Contain graphic violence or the excessive mutilation of bodies using weapons or dangerous tools
• Promote, romanticize, or incite suicide
• Promote discrimination or prejudice based on gender, religion, disability, age, social status, origin, race, region, or occupation without valid reason
• Encourage gambling or other behaviors that may significantly undermine a healthy lifestyle
• Content depicting or promoting bestiality (sexual acts between humans and animals)

2.Not Allowed for Teen-Friendly Characters: Rated R

If your character includes any of the following, you must set them as “Rated R” or “R”

Clearly intended sexual elements in the character’s appearance or profile

• Overly emphasized body parts (e.g., breasts, legs)
• Visible genital outlines through clothing
• Excessive nudity
• Sexual acts or depictions that may be interpreted as such
• Use of words referring to genitalia, pubic hair, or other sexual expressions

What doesn’t count as Rated R:

• Shirtless men (as long as it’s not sexualized)
• Simple cleavage (not the focus of the image)
• Breasts not in focus or not presented in a sexual context
• Minor injuries like cuts, scrapes and bruises
• References to romance (without explicit content)

When in doubt, err on the side of caution. Rate it R and avoid headache.

3.Prohibited Images

Prohibited Profile Image

• Content that may be offensive to other users
• Pornographic content
• Female nipple exposure, sexual acts, or explicit image (shirtless men are allowed)
• Visible genitals, pubic hair, anus, or adjacent areas
• Images of celebrities or represent the celebrities themselves, including photographs, portraits, or realistic depictions of famous individuals in real life
• Photorealistic Imagery of People
• For images based on realistic character movements, sexual acts or explicit physical contact (such as excessive intimacy) are not allowed.

4.Enforcement

Users who violate this policy may be subject to account suspension or termination. If you encounter any content that violates our policy, please report it to us immediately.

Character found to be in violation may be reported by users and are subject to the following actions without prior notice to the creator. We will try to give you reasonable time to review and remove the content yourself before deleting your content, which is our last resort.
